I currently have a shared server, Aus hosted that has little to no traffic, has 2 web sites on it... was running a forum on it for a game. I have no idea what dependencies this forum has so really cant say.

So if people are willing to put up with a slower response or we can archive the bulk of the content, several options available.

Depends on what everyone wants.

I am extremely sad that the forum is going so if it meant slower speed but keeping it alive then so be it. It has been said though that space, time and cost were not the only factors when the decision was made to close so even keeping the forum in even a limited capacity may not be viable not sure.

Well its also Goodbye from me to all the SA players I have encountered over the years since NPL/888Pl started.

There has been some fantastic people who have made me welcome at their venues, both TC's and players.

I thought my move to the Mid North was to be a lengthy one, but that has not been the case we will be on the move again in about 6 weeks.

So Victoria here we come.

Thanks the David and all in the forum management you have all done agreat job, and also to the many I have met through the forum its been a pleasure, as Iwill be living in Melbourne I will catch up with some of you at the GF.

So I know that once the forum closes, there's clearly gonna be a hole in my life and by the looks of it some others. So I have decided to set up a new forum which may not be as quick or as good looking as this one, but will include most of the non-888pl forums currently on this forum. It will be open to everyone, so this is an invitation to join. I will post the link once I do some basic customisation. More to come.
