Seriously though, the pubs and clubs do put forward a fair amount of money to host these events, so get out there and support them. If players aren't going to the venues then more venues will close down. And none of us want that, especially all the hard core players on this forum.

I just SMSed Ondie J about the BlueGums which is his ONLY regular venue. I received this reply;

sad to see the old spot leave us.

For B/G players Vine Inn on monday is the place to be, avg of 45 players this season with 10 more players will provide decent points for regional leaderboard positions.

It is a very fun and friendly atmosphere and well woth the 20 minute drive up the sturt highway.
