im guessing he means:
2 from gawler
3 from barossa
thus barossa is 1 from gawler

I think he's using Maths to make you look silly.
3 - 2 = 1
Not sure.

Re: State Finals, season 2 2008
I understood what benny the cunt meant.
I never specified "Nuri to Willaston," or "Tanunda to Evanston" as Barossa to Gawler, or said trip taking taking an hour.
If you factor in the increased travel time, traffic, etc, it'd be about 3 (ok, maybe 2 and a half) hours to Seaford from the Barossa. The Barossa isn't just one town, remember.
I normally take the trip to Aldinga by train so its hard for me to know how long it'd actually take by car, but I'm pretty sure it'd have to be at least 2 hours (from Gawler to Seaford).
When we drove to regionals it was at least 30 mins.

Gawler to Seaford?
I'd say 2 hours to someone, if they wanted a maximum. But I'd safely say it would be less.

Re: State Finals, season 2 2008
whereis says it is 1hr17 min, and thats usually very conservative, but i reckon that would be on the money.
i know dude, lived at freeling all my life, and now at evanston park
ok, well it would probably be 40 mins from evanston park to truro, so ill give you the hour estimate on that one
i dont care where the state finals are, i just want to make them!
(sitting 10th at my venue, but in form, i have made points the last 4 games. i hope i dont miss by 10 points again like i did last season)

Re: State Finals, season 2 2008
No offense here AK:
But what about all of our players from the South East, Peninsula/Hills region, Bordertown, etc....
Then we go to Riverland and Mid North. These poor buggers travel for over 6 hours to get to finals.
Sorry we do not specifically cater to our Northern suburbs when we choose finals venues.
It is a necessary evil you will require to live with.
JUNE 15th. Seaford Tavern.
Unfortunately it will be a flight system but I am doing everything within my power to at least come up with a fairer and more equitable situation.
But it's not looking promising.

I actually don't mind that they're in Seaford - gives me an excuse to go see my girlfriend, and if there's another 4 hour break, I've got somewhere to stay
I'm doing pretty good for States. With 4 games left I'm sitting 1st at the Kingsford, Thursays. 90 point gap between 1st and 6th - although at the Kingsford, with the amount of runners they get, that isn't much.
How is everyone else looking for states?

I'll be getting some action that day.. the girlfriend comes back from her Fiji holiday that day.
Can't see her being happy if I said "Sorry love, I made State Finals".
I'm not perfect. I'm what perfect aspires to become
