That's like playing poker at the Parafield Flying Club but bringing your own drinks from the locals BWS.

Hi Des, if your refering to my post and I assume you are, then if you look at the link I have added it's the same hotel complex.

Or, if your refering that I am looking at other accomadations available in the area, well yes I am. If you recall what I wrote in a previous link, that "if" we were to have big stack game at a country venue I would like to make it a family thing and stay longer than just 2 days.

So yes, I am looking for alternatives that will best suit our single income budget and still be able to support the venue. Plus, it would give the missus a break from work and at the same time spend some quality time with our non poker friends.

I'd love to have a good look around Berri, Loxton etc, and if possible go on a paddle boat ride, visit the wineries etc and just relax.

It's unfortunate that some of the TD's or ATD's aren't able to play as it would have been like the Palais knockout. :o :P

BUGGA ME, it takes me so long to write and make sure I have spelt everything correctly so Big Pete doesn't get his nuts in a knot to find you've already seen it was the same place, bugga, poop, crap, sizzle, dam!!!!!

Yes, that is true. But if you found the front bar schnitty was $9, whereas the dining room schnitty was $12, you'd eat in the front bar.

I think Bob is saying that we are getting $145 per night at Berri Resort, and he has found a lower price online at Berri Resort.

If he was finding cheaper at Berri Caravan Park, well he shouldn't be staying there.. we want to support the venue

*Disclosure: I will probably be staying with family/friends.

I found a better place than the caravan park Mark. Did you notice I called you Mark? It's because your not padding up, your actually making sense, LOL sorry it's so hard to be nice!!!

Well, maybe, just maybe, Garth will rethink his objections and allow those who put in the hard yards every week for NPL. I'm sure they deserve a break and spend a weekend away from working for NPL!!!

What do you think Garth??? Reward the workers sacrifice the slackers, LOL only joking M8 as I sure they are all worthy of representing the NPL staff.

If a staff member were to come in the money.....it could be donated to charity!

Darren can't play poker anyway.

Sounds interesting Garth, don't want to confirm anything yet, but I am interested. I'll probably want to go down there with a few mates so I'll talk to them and see if we can organise something.

$20,000 starting stack is goooood.
