I understand that $145 is a lot for many people.
We all have bills, loans, mortgages, etc....
But we would like to see the motel booked out as it is providing funds for this tournament and also paying for the event to be hosted.

If successful this will be a permanent fixture on the NPL calendar.

Oh, and the experience will be well worth it.
A true deepstack event that doesn't cost you anything to enter (apart from travel and accom and expenses) is a great idea.

At least you aren't spending a four figure sum on entry then airfares and accom.

It's still a plus plus in my mind and it's a weekend away in a beautiful area.

it is a lot, i have a mortgage as well, but what i was trying to say was i dont think $145 is a barrier for most people to come and play.

btw matthew, i am not paying 70 bucks to crash at your house that night!

$145 a nite for this type of envent that might only happen once a god knows when sounds fair to me. Im saving my pennies & dipped into my "play" money. Patty & the Mad Cow will be there. Cant wait, poker drinking & some good company. Its gonna be a great weekend. I wonder if the spa has a GHD filter??????

Hey Garth, do they allow nudie runs around the hotel without the need to get me bailed out before play starts?

BigPete33 wrote:$145 per night is expensive on it's own - I don't think anyone is saying it's not good value for what's on offer, but it's still $145. It's like buying something just because it's on special :P

Hi there Pete. This is in reply to your Post as well as others who may be in the same predicament as yourself.

For those of you who are single, and money is a little tight, why not share a room with one or two of your mates as well as sharing the fuel costs etc.

The $145 is for 2 people in a Motel suite and an extra $30 for additional adults.

They also have $70.00 rooms in the hotel with 2 single beds but no ensuite by the looks of it.

I only seen the $70.00 one after I had a closer look at their rates. So, $35.00 a head is good value, if you know what I mean

I hope this is of some help and only wish I had seen it earlier. :D
