Flight Of The Conchords

Anybody catch the series on Channel 10 tonight (if you haven't already downloaded it) ?

I've been looking forward to this ever since I heard Ch 10 were screening it (about a week) and it didn't disappoint. Not too bad for a pilot, I got a few laughs. I can see it getting better. My sort of humour though, so that's a plus :)

I liked the implementation of their songs too... and it actually worked, too. Great to see their awesome music get more recognition.

Anyone else a fan of the Cords?

Huge fan of the duo, though more so their live performances. Incredibly funny. I have the whole season of their show, I just don't think it translates too well to the screen as well as on stage.

Damn funny though.

Yeah i saw it ALK, was pretty good. well i liked it anyway.

The humour is similar to a less-brittish version of the IT crowd, even the two main dudes look similar in each series.

ARJ BARKER IS GREAT. funny as hell in the show the entire show was piss funny. ive always like FOTCbut i had no idea they were making a tv show. brillant

Heard plenty of their songs on triple j and they are great, but playing at Willaston on Sunday nights when it screens on 10.

just watched the first ep of flight of the conchords then, and i have to say it was pretty funny.

but nowhere near as funny as the IT crowd, that show is brilliant!

watched a few more eps now (from my fangled future recorder again), the show gets funnier.

i tend to think that their music works better on TV

it is definitely now rivaling the IT crowd (but still behind). The IT Crowd still wins because it gets more nerd points
