easy odds calculator (prolly been posted somewhere on here before, but i got it from a pro tip on online site)

(number of outs)*(number of cards to come)*2

this works it out within a couple of percent, and is very easy to calculate

i saw a hand similar to what todd was saying with the chances of the 8 coming out for quads

guy had poket 8s flop was low low 8 the guy goes all in guy with poket aces call... Turn A river 8

the guy with the aces would feel exceptionally unlucky
