And the NPL likes it too - means people who only use 1 card because they have two thirds of other people's stacks, will have half..

So basically, if you decide to keep your 2nd card, its worth $2000 at the first break, $1000 if you use it beforehand, yes?

I've got an idea on how to differentiate between the two cards. When the TD's sign up players, write "2k card" on one of their cards. Easy.

and it rewards those who fork out for the venue and get both cards stamped up.

Yep it's easy to differentiate (there are two styles of passports too), but I'm sure you'll find 5% of people get their 2nd card stamped up first.... probably higher at PHCC.

What's to stop people just stamping up ONLY the "2k card" and using it at the break to add-on 2k?

This would be an issue regardless actually..
Someone stamps up one card, uses none until the break, an d gets $2000.

Mind you - maybe that's how it should be.

The boys might have one of those single hole punches, and they'll punch a hole in the 2nd card once the first one is handed in as a rebuy.

I'm sure they've considered these things

But it's not rewarding the players who use 2 cards. One card = extra $1000, 2 cards = extra $3000... I'd stamp up 2 for that. But 2000/3000 might not be worth it.
