Re: Random images from the UPLOADS directory.... (warning, LOTS)
Okay you lot have had your recess and now I'm back. Had to wear the old suit for the first time on the weekend as my son Steven married Jacqui his fiancee of eleven years.
We had a magic day (Saturday) the wedding took place at, Okay, here we go Montifiore Hill under the Col. Light statue with Adelaide as a back drop. Fabulous simply fabulous wedding with non traditional music as Steven thinks he is still a rapper LOL is there supposed to be a W in front of that???
I'll post some pics later for you young ladies as I know your into that sort of thing. The wedding cars were also fab, early Ford GT's including the stretched limo and plenty of grunt.
The reception was held at the Sebel on Nth Terrace and they were magnificent, highly recommendable. They chose the buffet package and it was fabulous. Plenty of food, wine, beer and solf drinks and never tried to scrimp on table service.
To give you an idea of how the night started and finished we all had a theme song.
When Steven and Jacqui entered the room Jacqui was ahead of Steven to the tune of "Another one bites the dust" LOL. And closely followed by Stevens entry to keep the Bermy image going with the Rocky tune, "Eye of the Tiger". LOL.
It set the mood of the night and when I did my speech the tune was something like "when your getting old". Fortunately it was drowned out buy the mob chanting, Bob, Bob, Bob, Bob.
Great wedding, great nite, and little Jordan our 9 month old grandson, was brilliant. And when we got home he slept through both Friday and Saturday nites, thank god for that.
He was so cute, he was wearing his black tail suit, burgandy cumber thingy and matching bow tie and pocket-chief. I'll post pics later.
Plenty of the old music and then some modern to get the younger ones up on the floor. Top weekend sorry to ramble but you had to be there, cheers guys and gals.

Yes M8 with the air cleaners coming through the bonnet. Similar to this one plus there was a stretched one for the bride and groom. Same colour as in the pic.

Nice car Bob. My Dad used to own an XW GT in the same colour as that one (Diamond White).
Looked fantastic with the bonnet blackouts and Gold stripes.
