Tower hotel 2 pints bought @ once = 3 stamps.
Buy 1 pint = 2 stamps.

So we have to buy our drinks individually to get 4 stamps for 2 pints more work for the staff stupid people.

Nods. It is indeed silly.

You just need to start getting into the practice of going up to the bar and ordering like this... "I'd like to place two orders please. 1 for a pint of pale and the other for another point of pale."

Then make sure that you pay for one with your cash and then with the change that they supply for the other. I'm sure the staff will cotton on sooner or later.
Will dance for your chips!

Settlers isn't that bad apart from bar maid who thinks acts as though the ink in the stamp is coming from her own pocket (those who play there know which one i mean). The other staff and service as well as venue is great.

Shenannigans
$7 a red bull and only 1 stamp

$6 a spirt and you get 2 stamps

prices change every week, don't think I will play there next session.

Went to the Highlander on Sunday. Very disappointing....it took fifty minutes to receive our meals!!! :!: Some players still had not received their food when poker had started :!: A bit warm walking up the stairs while the staff weren't very warm when serving. Not sure if I'll bother going back :!: :!:

Well,
This is a negative thread isn't it.
I guess it had to come sooner or later.
My recommendation to you all is to contact the TD in regards to unsatisfactory venue procedures or service and in turn ask them to contact their regional operator. If you see me out and about, I will be at Semaphore and Hotel Royal tonight, then even speak to myself about it. Or write to me directly at garth@npl.com.au
Also you could contact Brock who is responsible for venue relations in this state. But I am not posting his contact details here.
I would also like to stress that their is not much we can do when it comes to quality of service or stamp procedures, all we can do is highly recommend changes or pass on customer complaints and ask them to rectify them.
It is after all their business and NPL is only there to supplement and improve their business.
