Player of the week challenge.

Postby Des » Mon May 26, 2008 11:49 pm

I'm bored so I've worked out how the city players can play the maximum amount of games. I've based this on STARTING time, not rego time.

There's 18 games listed here. Will be interesting if someone tried to run "The Gauntlet" and do the lot.

Monday - Queens Arm's (CBD) - 7.30pm
Monday - Checkmates (CBD) - 11.30pm
Tuesday - Hotel Royal (NW) - 7.30pm
Tuesday - Ballroom Billiard Saloon (CBD) - 11.00pm
Wednesday - Strathmore Hotel (CBD) - 2.00am
Wednesday - Swish on Terrace, Stamford Plaza (CBD) - 7.30pm
Wednesday - Woolshed on Hindley (CBD) - 11.30pm
Thursday - Red Square (CBD) - 7.30pm
Thursday - Red Square (CBD) - 11.30pm
Friday - Strathmore Hotel (CBD) - 2.00am
Friday - Payneham Tavern (E) - 7.30pm
Friday - Payneham Tavern (E) - 11.30pm
Saturday - Settlers Hotel (NE) - 2.00pm
Saturday - Brahma Lodge Hotel (NE) - 7.30pm
Saturday - Arkaba Hotel (E)- 11.30pm
Sunday - Pooraka Football Club (NE) - 1.00pm
Sunday - Parafield Gardens Community Club (NE) - 4.00pm
Sunday - Tea Tree Gully Hotel (NE) - 7.30pm

LOL the south dont really have a late game, and I was trying to keep travelling to a minimum.

Really you can substitute any 7.30pm game to your local NPL and it would still work, just means more travelling.

I thought they had a curfew down south?

After midnight, seen outside, shoot first, ask questions later.

Man, a Gawler/Riverland/South/any player that can't play games in the city is never going to win player of the week :(

I just read the fine print.

The Player of the Week leaderboard will display those members who have played three games or more and will be sorted via the most points scored in any week from Monday to Sunday.

Might as well update the website when you hand over the 1st place prize for whoever wins the late game at Paynerham that week :D

Hopefully someone like AK etc. from the barossa region will be in the top 10 one week, although the odds are stacked against them.
