What i meant was you have a very unassuming table image, and i think it works to your advantage, as people think you are one of those young dudes that doesn't know how to play, but in fact, i think you are a pretty decent player

It's 10 games by average so just playing 10 games wont secure you an instant berth at the Regionals. It will be your best 10 games.
No, that will not apply to season 2. Season 2 qualifiers has already been set.
Don't kid yourself.....it will be a tough ask for a lot of people to qualify. As it stood with needing 15 games to qualify for season 2 we still managed to get 133 players to qualify for the upcoming Regional Final.

Just wondering how the sudden spike in numbers at Regionals has occured when only 90-odd had qualifed prior to the final game at Willaston on Sunday night?

Top 10 games should allow more people a shot at qualifying for regionals this season, but also encourage the higher game players to play even more to improve their averages which is a good thing. It's a fair chance that the player who places most at the Kingsford on Thursday will be right up there, however numbers may drop at smaller venues towards seasons end if the lower points won't count for much.

Be interesting to see how it plays out...

Yeah, you're right Troy. We were talking about it too, and there were only 95 (I'd checked the list earlier in the day). This means 38 more players would have to have qualified through the final games at Sir John Franklin and the Willaston.

I just checked the leaderboard for last season and there's 154 players listed - most with 10-15 games. I assume this is last seasons leaderboard being affected by the new "10 game rule." Maybe Darren read the list wrong?
