I was referring to this post, Bob.

Bob, you are very right, it is unfortunate to see Brahma indoor close and it would have been great to have venues in the area that suited everyones needs but unfortunately that just couldn't be made to work. It was a shame that Tony & Joe didn't want to give the day change a go but in the end they did what they thought was right for their business....as did we.

I believe the first reply was more to the point and I can understand that Tim is between a rock and a hard place. Logic says give it a go and check the names on the BL sheets. Anyway they are gone now and have 3 nights with the opposition. Seems a waste.

Yeah man, seriously. And relax, its all good, I wasn't offended or anything - I knew you were just having a joke. I'm fine, we had a good two months :P

Kinda screws my plan for states, though  Although being in the second flight helps, I was planning to go down Sat night and spend the night.

Anyway, how about that Parafield vs Brahma situation? I heard they were thinking about taking it out to the car park!

I was actually referring to parafield vs brahma, as in the buildings. Yes, I was trying to be funny

The Willo is great! More people usually do play there, Wednesday probably averages 50-60, don't know what was going on tonight.

Are you doing all Gawler venues or something? I thought you'd be doing all the metro venues. In fact, where do you live man?

near Semaphore... no one else really does the G&B so I'll help out Darren and Matty if they need a TA. Good people out there tonight.

Seriously Ron, by "buying you off" are you suggesting there are too many prizes? :?

Surely you can see why we try to offer up the best prizes all the time in the NPL? We don't want you guys playing for the dark side, and with Brahama Indoor deciding to persue another avenue.....

BTW, will you be paying us another visit this evening?

Sorry mate couldnt see you tonight
will c you Friday.
Just dont understand why we cant have a choice in the nth east on a wednesday night, PGCC seems like they want it all on wed night & dont want to share, I find that greedy and could neva support a venue like this & that they threathened npl they would close if they couldnt get there way is childish.
I have respect for Garth & all his staff, I find them to be good people, some I could even call a friend, thats why I play npl, they have the best run tourneys, so thats why I play, prizes are good but not everything.
Thats just how I feel mate

121 runners at PGCC looks like a record for them, and they've acheived back what they wanted.

I'd like to hear the comments about PGCC moving their Sunday game from 1 to 4 during last season, because it clashed with Pooraka FC, and we all know how much PFC is loved (and rightly so).
I'm not perfect. I'm what perfect aspires to become

Firstly, Ron, thanks for the reply and your thoughts and opinions.

In a perfect world we'd all have what we wanted all the time but unfortunately sometimes that is just no possible. I would like to have seen Brahma Indoor continue the same as you but in the end the NPL had to do what was best for the business.

I must say I am a little overwhelmed at the passion of our players on this particular issue. It makes me feel confident in the future of the NPL with guys like yourselves wanting to get so involved and trying to make the NPL a better place for everyone. Keep it up!!

But....in saying that, if we could keep the players happy with every aspect of the NPL what would Bob B have left to post about. ;)

and...you will see me Friday night. I thoroughly enjoy my Fridays at Pooraka. Always a good time! :)

Marc, PGCC requested to move to the new time slot for the exact reason you stated. They wanted to try to eliminate the need to compete between Pooraka & themselves, thus allowing players to get in three games on the Sunday in the NE if they so wished. For those that bust early at PFC & still need their fix they can get to PGCC for a 4pm start. It also enables those players from PGCC to make it to roulettes for the night game with no lengthly break in between. Hopefully this setup suits evereyone. (I'm sure it won't but hey, we're trying!!! :))

and AK, "Pari" said she will always be there for you if that tramp "Willaston" don't treat you right. She said if you're ever down that way she'd like to buy you a drink. Poker anyone?
