yeah i have to admit no idea what that guys name was AK but he played some werid hands. i was at the table (a little touched u mentioned my name in the same sentence u mentioned good) and you were getting some mighty hands and were getting razzed.

but old 2 3 off....(the ziggy) i still dont know how u limp in with that no matter what the blinds are. and then to stay in after the flop.

but we all know poker is a harsh game. oh by the way you said u were carp scared of the flush draw.

I was one of those that stirred you up a little over your AA limp. Sorry I didn't listen mate.....too busy laughing at the time.

Seriously though..... I think your play was a good one. Anytime you're willing to try something different is more than ok with me! Not being predictable is a very good skill to aim for.

So it didn't work for you this time......so what!! Don't stop trying! It's good to see someone not pushing all in just cos they have the best hand preflop. There are more than a handful of people out there every night that are so predictable with every raise it is hard to watch.

Nothing wrong with it, you just have to be willing to let it go (and it isn't a bad beat when you get caught!)

That is what I love tho - all those, er, people, who go on and on about "aces always get cracked". BS they do. More likely they fall in love with then and won't lay them down. meh. We've all done it (esp me), but the only reason it seems like they always get cracked is aces losing is something you remember, aces winning? that is hardly special.

My own fault, but at the time I thought it was a perfect play. I knew that if I raised big preflop I'd get no callers. I did want value for it, but one caller at 3xBB is 3 players limping in, something you definitely don't want with Aces.

I really should've checked on the turn. The turn paired the board, gave him trips if he was playing the 3, which wasn't too outlandish, he was a new player... and had been talking absolute crap, poker skill wise, earlier. If I checked the turn, he would've instantly pushed all in... I could've laid it down.

And just quietly, I want to win the regional leaderboard so bad. Being the bridesmaid, twice, is fun and all... but I wanna take it out this year

You Might win the leader board some time this year but this season im taking 1st and i find it funny when you talk yourself up about how good you are because you make the same mistakes as everyone else.
