Carp show, good for the first two episodes only.

I cant believe they have stretched one interesting premise into over 3 seasons of mind-numbing stupidity.

THANK YOU!
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

I would firstly like to say that I loved the first series of Lost. The show should have only been a two season max series but in the hunt for money tried to keep a sinking ship floating by making a lame season 2.

I still don't mind watching it (whatever season it is at the moment) but the constant flash backs and ever changing story lines are more annoying and painful then sliding down a razorblade using your crutch, into a pool of vinegar. In the first season the flash backs were relevant but now they just seem pointless and episode lengthening. Does anyone else agree with this?

I'm not "bagging" Lost I'm just saying that it could have been a short, sharp and sweet series of two, possibly three seasons instead of this evergoing flashback/sidetwist/untwist/retwist of events that it currently is. A bit similar to the show "Prison Break" which I belive should also have been kept to two series.

And on a side not the actual real life location of Lost (although filmed in Hawaii) is meant to be set on an island whose location is the basing of the 'numbers' in the show. You know the one's that they had to type in the computer over and over again. They are the gps coordinates (or something similar) to an un-inhabited island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean (i think that's were it is supposed to be). I doubt the actual island is anything as annoying as the constant sub-plots built into side-plots of the main plot of Lost.

Enough about Lost. There's not even any poker in it anyway.
If you've got luck...use it!

6.

Wikipedia Lost entry wrote:On May 7, 2007, ABC Entertainment President Stephen McPherson announced that Lost will end during the 2009–2010 season with a "highly anticipated and shocking finale. We felt that this was the only way to give [Lost] a proper creative conclusion," McPherson said. Beginning with the 2007–2008 television season, the final 48 episodes of Lost would have been aired as three seasons with 16 episodes each, with Lost concluding in its sixth season.

Can I just say, this post is pretty good. Yeah I'll agree that Lost's 2nd season was pretty deplorable, but Season 3 was awesome. And oh, Dan, they're flashforwards :D

Yes, Prison Break went on for too long. I stopped watching early into the 3rd season.

It's ironic that this topic has been mentioned as i recently turned in a paper for uni about fan-based shows using lost as my core research..

I actually agree that season 2 was boring however, introduced the others and important characters such as desmond.

season 5 looks to be promising and a for where did the island go?
i think its actually in the same place. when refering to modern relativity and wormhole theories which is surounding the mystery of the show, other than the crappy love scenes, when ben turned the wheel in the finale to 'move' the island he didnt change it's location but rather it's space and time with the earths relativity. its abit far fetched and

+

you know its fake tho cause normally airlines have playing cards on board?

can i ask what you actually mean by this? i know the show doesn't have to actually make sense, but from a relativity point of view, this makes no sense whatsoever (sorry massive nerd here)

I think what he means is that the island wasn't physically moved, as in moved up the road to the house 3 house up. It's moved the island in a way similar to a time machine. Instead of going backwards or forwards in time it moved in comparison to the earth. So it didn't physically move it just adjusted it's position connected to Earth.

I know this probably doesn't make sense but I'm trying to get my point across. It wasn't a physical movement of the island but more of like a 3rd dimensional one

that makes even less sense shrek

how can something move but not physically move?

3rd dimension move? so it moved in altitude did it?

this is probably one of those things that my science background doesn't let me just gloss over.

i wanna know what the hell they did to the island goddammit
