Shows how long it's been since I bought a carton of them, then. That was back in the 4 pack days :D

Carton was 4 x 4 packs (Not that I actually paid for them, a very friendly Coke rep looked after me ;) )

God, the tart fuel tax really kills the roadtrip.

Once, me & 2 mates drove over to Melbourne with a carton of Bundy cans, cost $50, and me & mate (the driver wasn't drinking) drank 18 of them by Horsham. We were sober again by Melbourne and went out FTW ( )

At $80 a carton, I wouldn't do that now.

Stupid Tart Fuel Tax

As IF that's the reason it was brought in.. just a smokescreen to get more tax dollars.

It won't even work. Kids are still going to get drunk - there's other ways. It will stop a few cartons and bottles being bought, yes, but trying to stop binge drinking by raising the prices of drinks... pfft.

I didn't even realise kids would buy that stuff in the first place..... whatever happened to a bottle of bourbon, and a bottle of coke? That always sorted me out at parties when I was young and stupid.

Its not so much the Johnnie Walker, its all bourbon. Every bourbon product has gone up in price, I'm pretty sure (or premixed/spirits, not entirely sure).

And as if you're still not young and stupid ;)
