Jamo, what did I say to you when I flushed out on the river after you kept raising with your pocket kings.

"It's not the end of the world, be patient, don't sulk, your a better player than that and you'll probably make the final table".

Well you did and I'm so glad you made 2nd spot. :D

I had fun playing against you some of the other forum guys on the Friday and Saturday M8. 8-)

the only thing that i did wrong was not raise enough preflop. numerous times i picked up A10 or AJ suited, and i was only raising 2.5 to 3 BB, instead of more, which allowed the bigger stacks to call and bet into me later. other than that, i thought i played ok.

the best hand i saw, that put this one lady on massive tilt, involved rob (mr smooth 81)

chick in early position raises about 3BB, rob on the button re-raises to about 10BB (probably 1/3 of his stack), and gets 1 caller.

flop comes

[jd] [6h] [jc]

massive pot already, rob decided to push all in for his remaining 10K or so straight away, and gets instacalled.

rob says "i have easily got you beat" or something along those lines

the lady turns over

[6d] [6c]

WOW, flopped a boat, what could rob have, but..

[jh] [js]

LOL a flopped boat vs flopped quads.

the lady was so pissed off, that she told me and rob to shut up when we were talking about how lucky that was that she flopped a boat when he got quads! (but then she continued to talk about it later, but anyway thats another story)

how pissed did she get!!!

The hand that gave me most pleasure was when I was moved to Bacons table.

The card delt were un-important.

Blinds were posted a few players called, then Bacon raises to 3000, there were 3 between Bacon and I, my turn comes I push all-in, everyone folds Bacons turn to decided to play or fold.

Bacon counts and recounts his stack, then divides his stack in call and what would be left.

Bacon Folds

Gee it was great to rattle his cage for a moment or two.

the most memorable hand that i had was unfortunately in the repechage, but it was knocking gundog out of the tournament, so it was a good one.

early on in the tourney, i have about 16K, gundog has 12K or so, in the first hour i reckon.

i pick up 33 UTG and limp (i had been getting awesome cards lately and raising, didnt want a re-raise), gundog and maybe one other person limps.

flop comes J38. woo hoo flopped bottom set.

gundog bets 1000, i call - i put him on a J, and i want him to fire at it later.

turn is a nothing card, gundog checks, i check behind him.

river J - MONEY CARD!!

gundog bets 4000, i make it 10K, and he goes all in and i instacall - he turns over J10 i think.
