Date for State Finals 2008-3

Has the date/venue been selected for the 2008-3 NPL state finals? I'm hoping I'll be there and want to keep that Sunday free

No it hasn't been set yet Brice.

Also keep your Saturday free. It was mentioned a while back that SF's were going to alternating between Saturdays and Sundays.

But this may change depending on the venue's requirements.

I think it is rotated through the different metro regions so it is fair for everyone....well fair for everyone in the metro regions (i.e. so that no one region gets to hold it all the time).

They generally have moved it around the regions. NW is probably next, I don't think any CDB venues are big enough to hold it, unless it's at the Cas.

But aren't the States at least 6 weeks away anyway? Negotiations would be underway, but it wouldn't be finalised yet.

If you need to know halfway through the season where state finals are going to be held, to see whether you're going to be able to make it or not, why put in the 10 weeks effort trying to qualify? We're normally told around week 7/8.

What we do know is that it'll be on a Saturday/Sunday. If you have trouble with those days (sport, work, babysitting, whatever) maybe you should rethink qualifying for states. It will most probably be in the NW area - it won't be down south again, every region gets a go each season.
