If you love suited connectors so much AK then why do you whine and complain about me knocking you out of the regionals with suited connectors?

And as for you rating JD better than you we all know that's a good laugh. In AK's world AK is number 1 and everyone else needs to learn how to play.

And as for your rating abilties, considering you rated a certain player who is yet to win one (let's just call them oh, I dunno XXX) over another player who is yet to win one (we'll call them ZZZ) shows that your rating system is flawed.

For the rest of you who weren't involved in the conversation myself JD and AK were discussing players who had won several tournamnets and who we still considered average players as well as who we thought the best player yet to win a tournament was.

Myself and JD had several suggestions which we could have argued either way. However JD's first suggestion XXX gave us both a good laugh before we got serious about the conversation. AK on the other hand suggested XXX first off.

I had another laugh at this, before realising AK was serious. Moral of the story... don't listen to AK on who he thinks is good and who he thinks isn't

There's a difference between playing suited connectors and then calling a 3xBB raise, preflop, after an all in and a caller, Shreky.

JD is a better player than me.

XXXX is a good player, although if it was between him and ZZZZ I'd probably pick ZZZZ as the best player not to win a NPL tournament. But I still rate XXXX when he plays well.

Oh, that's right, because you can't play them.

It's called a starting hand because it's your hand at the START. Then it changes.

The problem with people with Aces is that they think they SHOULD win every hand. When, really - they have ONE PAIR and that's it.

People need to learn to re-evaluate the strength of their hand after the flop, turn and river.

"Hmm interesting flop, BUT I HAVE ACES I CALL"
"Hmm, turn is another diamond, that's three, and the board has paired, BUT I HAVE ACES I CALL"
"Hmm river is another diamond, and I don't have one, BUT I DO HAVE ACES SO I CALL"

Sorry, I'm tired.

There you go Bob. It was just my first draft and I was waiting for someone to proof read it for me.

So thanks for that Bob. :)

And if I had my way I would've knocked you out long before the final table. Which I plan to do this Thursday. So look out almost Uncle Bob. I'm gunning for you!

Bruce please tell me you raised hard with Aces preflop, and then bet big on the flop.

No, he min bet pre-flop & on the flop

No wonder they got smashed.

Pre-flop, a call with 88 may be possible (depending on bet size).. but would you chase a flush draw with only the 8?? I doubt it.
I'm not perfect. I'm what perfect aspires to become

its your own fault bruce -
anything less than a 3BB raise preflop, followed by a pot sized bet on the flop, and you are asking for trouble

seriously, if you loosened up your game a little bit, you would be a much better poker player. but then again, if i tightened my game up a bit...
