And Tony Hachem is sitting on 130k. For those that know fellow aussie Emad Tahtouh, he was eliminated earlier today.

From the pokernews.com shoutbox reporting:

Hi Jeff "Yellowsub" William's mom, Jeff just came over to the media box and asked to say: "Hi Mom, I love you" and that he has 62K. ;)

No Retreat, No Surrender

Darrell Dicken has had a rough day. After repeated skirmishes with opponents at his table, including Wayne Brown, Dicken was down to roughly 3,900 chips. Dicken could have very easily just given up, picked a random hand to push in his chips, and left the Amazon Room at his "inevitable" bust. Instead, he never gave up, and after a recent hand in which Dicken made the second nut flush on a board of -Kh Jh 4h 10d Qh- with 10h 10s in the hole, he is now up to 53,000.

Darrell Dicken - the latest example of "a chip, a chair and a prayer."

John Jacob Jeremiah Smith, His Chips Are Dan's Chips Too

Jeremiah Smith raised to 2,500 preflop, and Dan Assor made the call. On a flop of 4d 5d 10s, Smith checked to Assor, who bet 6,000. Smith raised to 15,000 and Assor called.

The turn fell the Ks and Smith again check to Assor who bet 20,000. Assor made the call.

The river fell the 8d and Smith bet out 25,000. Assor made the call.

Assor showed Kd Js and Smith mucked.

After the hand Assor moved up to 194,000 chips, while Smith moved down to 211,000.

(I just like the title :D )

You Don't Bet That?
On the turn, with the board showing Ah 9d 9h Ac, Chuck Thompson bet out 2,500 and Glen Willcock made the call. The river fell the 6c and action was checked around.

Willcock showed Ad 4d and Thompson showed 9s 2h.

After the hand, Willcock moved up to 38,000 and Thompson moved down to 44,000.

After the hand, Thompson said, "Why did you check on the river?"
Willcock: "You can't have two nines?"
Another player: "Ya. Never bet with second nuts."
