Re: Tanunda Hotel
sorry Ben, they are not up front about it. They tried to cover their arses by lying to our faces. I am sure most players wouldn't mind so much if they loosened a little on the rest of us.

Re: Tanunda Hotel
The point of the stamps is for the venue to cover the costs of holding the venue... I'm sure most workers would earn their pubs the money it costs to cover their charges. I don't see how it matters how venue staff get their stamps. Does your work offer you any incentives for working there? It might be something they do... I bet they get their drinks cheaper, when they do buy them.
How are you disadvantaged by the staff member (who I am assuming isn't at work during the tourney, but on a night off) getting stamps for "free"? They are just more chips for you to win.
Why not complain about the Community Clubs, where if you become a member, you get 10% off all purchases... those people are getting their stamps cheaper (which in the long run could calculate to getting free stamps!!

Matt has gotta be the worst heads up dealer in Australia, possibly the world, giving someone trip 2's on the turn when someone had 2 pair was disrespectful of the way poker is played. SAY NO MORE. 28 players and i knocked 12 out but.
I'm gonna take over the world

Re: Tanunda Hotel
I played Tanunda for the 1st time last night and i thought it was a great venue. The pub owner came out and spoke to me and AK about all the promotions they were running. Their were prizes being given away all the time for the 2 bounty's 1st to make diamond and spade flushes and winning with 7,2 the prizes were pretty good to. The venue was nice and the food was great defiantly worth going back thier. Stamping policy for the month of July is stamped up for a meal which i think is great value. Just quietly bruce being AK's 3rd entourage member made me feel low

Re: Tanunda Hotel
I'd explain, but I'd rather let someone else do it
But seriously, Tanunda, whoa. Pretty much the best venue ever. Awesome prizes, they had a raffle draw every 10 mins or so, and like JD said, the first spade or diamond flush got a prize, as did the first house with 2s... all sorts of stuff like that going on, all night.
Great work from the venue to bring in more players.
