If anyone doesn't know, Staff for the NPL finally had a chance to let our hair down, and relax after South Australia's biggest poker weekend. Garth (our boss) Finally got hes game on, and i thought played very good poker, and took out our 1st place. One of our nick's got to head's up, after Andre and Garth tango'ed.
Andre BB
Kc Jc
Garth SB
5c 5h
Nick R folds on the Botton, Garth pushes all in, Andre calls.
First card out on flop Jd. But the next card came a 5s which ended the race. Andre after the flop left drawing to Running clubs, Running Kings, Running Jacks. it Didn't happen.
2 hands later, the heads up battle ended when garth trapped Nick and ended it all.
Garth SB just calls the BB with PP Jacks'
Nick R - BB push all in with A 3 off.
Again the flop ended the hand basicly, Garth tripped again catching hes Jack on the flop, Nick R - left drawing only to a Runner Runner Straight. but amazing catching both hes ace and 3 and the turn and river.
Another great relaxing game, both Brock and Garth making final table. Below are some shots on my bad phone again sorry.

Speaking of John, let us not forget that John had pocket Ks and was beat on the river by his opponent drawing an A to make a pair. John ended up as the money bubble.
A true bad beat by any definition. It was painful to watch it go down, that is for sure.

Re: Staff Free Roll - Game 3
I had an exclusive NPLSA interview with Alex last night.
In regards to the comments about the size of his... beer glass. The reply was a quick "I'd never drink a schooner in my life".
However about the lack of chips controversy was a short "no comment".
