WOW
Firstly, what can I say? Following my rediculous 10 week ban for saying a naughty word out loud, I returned to play at a couple of venues and the response from my fellow players has been unbelievable. To the hundreds, yes hundreds, of NPL players and officials that made the effort to come up and say Wecome back- we missed you- The Worlds Biggest Thanks. But that's what you would expect from NPL people. Kindness, sincerity and friendliness.
Secondly, am I missing something or is NPL.com weeks, maybe months behind in updating their website? Maybe it is just my computer.
Thirdly, to the venues that hung tough and are now getting the rewards a big thankyou to you.
Fourthly, Our leader Annabelle, has kindly offered to sit and play with The Cougar on his return- well Annabelle, I will be at the Tea Tree Gully Hotel this Sunday and a seat at the same table is yours. Look forward to seeing you there and to everyone else that would like to catch up.
Finally, once again the highest regards to the people that have made me feel so welcome on my return.
Yours sincerly
Paul Emslie

Hi Paul,
Would like to join you for a NPL game but unfortunately I am unavailable on Sunday. I would be happy to make another game. Good luck!

Welcome back Cougar.
I apologize for my dealing at the table on Wednesday at Glynde. It was not my intention to river you so many times.
Or was it.....

Welcome back cougar.
I enjoyed our football discussion at the 2nd last table and my short stack stay at final table, and you were on your best behaviour well done on the win.

Re: AM I MISSING SOMETHING?
I'll tell you what... I am moved.
I had the absolute pleasure of seeing The Cougar tonight at the TTG Hotel and without a shadow of a doubt he is a changed man.
I would very much like to say "welcome back" to The Cougar I got to know and love in season 1 2007 and might I add the following...
Sir, your attitude is now to be considered nothing short of magnificent. I welcome you back with open arms and very much look forward to seeing you again across the felt. Your new, relaxed attitude is world class and a credit to your character. Long may it continue.
Sincerely,
Big Pete

Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

May have already said it in person, but definately good to see you back. You're one of the Characters of the game, and your dry sense of humour was missed during your absence.
Check out my ample flop....
