Colin Peckover Eliminated In 3rd Place ($30,500)

Colin Peckover has just been eliminated by Manny Rodrigues. With all the action being checked to river on a board reading {A-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {6-Spades} Peckover moved all-in and was insta-called by Rodrigues.

Peckover turned over {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a 9-high bluff while Rodrigues turned over {9-Spades}{3-Spades} for trip-threes. With that pot we lose Peckover in 3rd place for $30,500.

On a board reading {6-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{5-Hearts} {6-Clubs} Paul Taylor moved all-in and was called by Manny Rodrigues.

Taylor: {J-Spades}{5-Clubs}
Rodrigues: {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

Needing to catch a third jack to stay alive, Taylor would be disappointed when the {7-Hearts} came on the river sending him to the rail in 2nd place for $44,225.


Manny Rodrigues Is Our Champion!

Manny Rodrigues has outlasted 610 entrants to be the Event #5: $550 No Limit Holdem $250,000 Guarantee Champion.

With play lasting four days it was a long final day with Rodrigues battling 114 other opponents through 13 hours of play to eventually come out on top.

For his efforts Rodrigues will not only take home the $65,575 first prize, but also the prestigous trophy and title of Event #5 champion.
