Bad beat that should of had me out at states

Postby Chelsea4thewin » Sun Aug 31, 2008 2:36 pm

Yes i just got home from the states and thought i would post about one sick beat

Blinds 100/200 with 25 ante right of the button
Get Dealt [ad], [qs]

Mid position calls, i raise to 400, button calls, SB and BB fold and mid position calls

Flop - [qh] [qc] [5h]

Midposition checks, me scared of the flush bets out 500 (too small i now think), button calls and midposition folds

Turn - [6h], i bet 1000 to see where im at and she just calls, alarm bells ringing

River - [ah] bang perfect card, i got the boat, im sure she has the flush so i check waiting for the raise but to my suprise she just checks

She then flips over [as], [ac]

i was just above 3k at this point so this cripples me but the thing is i should of been out, how didnt she bet this river, i asked the question and she thinks i had flopped quads  , maybe she felt bad and didnt want to take me out

But how i see it, she was calling if i went all in on the flop or turn so me trying to trap saved my skin lol, i wish this happened in a normal game not the bloody state finals, she had 1 out on the river

Actually, having said that..
Can you believe the amount of chasers playing?

I got so many playable hands like AK (which I got 4 times), pocket 2's and 7's which I folded preflop because I really don't rate them highly enough, and the such.

The only really bad hands I played were those that were big blind.

But I had AK, I bet 4x blind - got 1 caller
K?? came out on the flop, bet $200 - called
rag came out on the turn, bet $100 - called
5 on the river, checked (I figure I have thrown enough in) he bets $100, I called...
He has K5

Talk about chasers..
But he did that over and over, it was pathetic.

Anyway... Maybe it is time for lessons on playing chasers.

I was on table 20.

I did get to meet AK who is the quietest little cutie.
But he is the only one I did get to meet from forums, I was actually quite grumpy and just wanted to go home.. lol

punters BEWARE ...Mr Nice Guy... is not what he pretends to be.

he introduces himself to our/my table about ten minutes before 2nd break . 1st flight. arriving with a medium sized chip stack.
. Mr CBD calles eighteen tables left so 130 -140 runners?? and within two or three hands takes me down with his A,J holding over my A ,5 suited diamonds... shucks....foiled again.....
