I tend to agree with checking.

A known tight/solid player limping in from UTG always worries me. Straight away I'm thinking a pair or reasonable suited connectors so for that example KK is a possibilty as is 55 and maybe even 22 (but probably not 22).

For that hand I'd be most suspicious about him having 55 (in which case I'd lose) or KQs (in which case I'd win) or maybe even AK as well (and then it's Choppy McChopperson).

Can't see the point in betting here, would pretty much be forced to show some respect.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

He has limp called the flop.

If it was a limp raise then yes AA KK possibly QQ.

Because he has limp called. thats the line i would be taking on the turn.

Mainly this is one of those hands, where i would be betting for Information. 1/2 Pot, means i am beat 2 times out of 3.

Anything else would most likely be a fold. Hence 1/2 Pot win 100%

Unless he has low pockets but even then that is 3 times out of 10.

Fold. While you have top pair, top kicker, your hand does not stack up well against your opponent’s range. This player has no history of getting out of line. His river bet screams strength - he may be attempting to make it look like a bluff by overbetting the pot, but he definitely wants a call. He most likely has trip sevens and is trying to make up for the turn check by getting a bigger bet in on the river.

Raise (9%) Call (36%) Fold (54%)

so what did caller have/hit or is just a hypo ??

These are all hypothetical situations, Bruce. There is no reveal; they weren't aren't taken from real hand histories.

Exactly, the answer is always "It depends".... and that's why we love the game.

Lately, whatever I get, if I do one of the other options, I'd be better off.

That sounds very similar to Steve G's advice to newcomers :)

Scene

No-Limit Cash Game, Blind 1/2

Your Stack: 190
Opponent 1: 150 (UTG)
Opponent 2: 300 (2nd to act)

Question:

You are playing in an online six-max game. In this hand two weak spots, player 1 and player 2, limp in and you raise to $12 from on the button with [6c] [6d]. The blinds fold and the limpers come along. The flop comes [ad] [6h] [2c]. Player 1 leads for $22 and player 2 calls. What should you do?

i would just call, no flush or straight possibilities so u have to be in front here, flat calling might help ur opponents improve there hands on the turn, u also have position so hopefully they will continuation bet on the turn and u can raise here
