Gas & Electricity Retailers

Anyone know a good energy retailer to go with? I have a unit and have just installed a gas hot water system and gas to the property. I have electricity with AGL, but want to change both over to 1 company and reap the benefits. Anyone have any advice? I'm looking at AGL, TRU or Origin at the moment

i am with TRU, but there doesn't seem to be much difference between any of them

AGL does the job for me for both gas and electricity. Can't really comment on the others.

If your down sowf, I'd suggest the SA Electric Light and Motive Power Company.

I think Origin give you two months free electricity of you have both gas and electricity with them.

I use Simply Energy for Gas/Electricity.

You'd think they could put it all on one bill.

Then I might not have noticed my Gas usage for this quarter. Average Daily Usage for May/August 07; 13.89MJ. This period; 227.41.

Average Gas bill around $75. This quarter, $347!

Having ducted heating that works this year has really burned me

I was just about to look into Simply Energy, they came up as the cheapest supplier based on a calculator I found:

They were probably the last of 3 door-to-doors that came around in consecutive months, and I changed each time.

Must've been a push on, cos no-one's come in like 8 months.
