bruce, its not [ad] [ah] or [ad] [ac] or [ad] [as] or [ah] [as] or [ah] [ac] or [as] [ac]

so its not in your playable range, and you are folding.

LOL :D

* Game: No-Limit Texas Hold'em, Multi-Table Tournament
* Position: Cut-off
* Type of Game: Loose
* Blinds: $25/$50
* Your hand: [ac] [kd]

Question:

You're in the early stages of a multi-table tournament when you're dealt a big slick in the cutoff. The table has so far been characterized by loose play with plenty of players limping in to see the flop, and true to form, four players have called so far. What do you do?
We've how about links I would like to know I walk the line scrunches line at how the client Lawrence etc. etc.

Depending on the buy in.

I raise big here possibly 6xBB, then see how many callers I get.

I possibly jam the flop as well, but again dependant on buy in and stack sizes.

I am not limping with AK in this situation, but it is early days if I am scared of the flop or going to the flop with two or three callers then you might as well fold.

I'd really need more information regarding stack sizes, and just how "loose" they really are, but my first response is "all-in".

With 4 limpers you've got a nice pot, and who is calling you down that you're worried about, and has limped? You're getting good enough odds with the limpers in there to take a coin flip :D Fold equity'n'all that means its a no brainer in my mind.

Let's just say everyone is hovering around the 1500 mark since it's early.

Any of those players could be limping with 2's or something... I'd either raise large or perhaps just limp as well (value?) and see what joy the flop brought. Wouldn't have any problem letting that hand go post flop on that table.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

Good point. Jamming preflop probably isn't really a good move here - no need for it this early. You definately want to put in a hefty raise tho - I'm liking Garth's idea of around 6xBB, slightly over bet the pot.

Hmmm. I still like all in here tho :D

Jamming with AK is probably the most common move online I've seen. ;)
Usually UTG on the second hand of the tourney.

online, if it is a loose tourney, i would think about shoving all in.

you will be surprised how many ppl call u with ace rag early on.

i would probably make it 500 or 600 to go, really overbet it, and then jam the flop
