midnight sunday !!!!! :o

i know we are never going to keep everyone happy with this but come on people lets have some sort of comon sense here.

midnight is a time slot for friday or saturday nights

most of us normal folk have to work monadays so somehthing that has us up playing poker 4hrs before we are due for work isnt going to happen

there seems to be quite a bit of interest here, dont forget that we might be able to add a second night ie friday night at midnight later on with enough interest if the first games are popular enough, that way any people that miss out may have a night as well

but that will depend on how well the first events are supported
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

i reckon the way to go would to run it weekly or fortnightly, and then publish the results on here along with an unofficial ladder with overall winnings (just for bragging rights)

What do people think of running it bi-weekly?

Tuesday evenings & Sunday evenings, for example.

you tell us dates and times, stick to them, and then people can decide whether they can play or not.

seems to be the best way to go about it

Tuesdays are (sorta) good for me.

Are we talking 7:30pm, or something a little more social friendly like, say 9:30/10pm? I'd prefer something a little later in the evening around the 9:30/10pm mark as it won't consume my evening that way.

Sunday's I'm still hoping to find a nice summer game somewhere close to the city, ie. Studio 89 mkII :D

But anyway, I won't be playing any poker over summer :D :D :D :D

1 hour limits?!?!?!

that just means it will take u a lot longer to get blinded out bruce :P

2 buck unlimited rebuys in the first hour, double addon at the break, 10 minute levels, 1500 starting stack. standard online stuff

start simple, one night a week, and if there is interest, then expand it.

Starting time will be no later than 8pm.

It's not hard to create the secondary game - doesn't matter how may people participate.

Freezout tournament will have 15 minute levels. If a rebuy tournament is the consensus, there will be 10 minute levels.

Starting stacks will be 1500.

In terms of running it as a league or competition, as opposed to unique events, I'll use the points system that was employed for a similar league on another forum. Don't have it at hand, but I will post it up later to give you an idea of how a league points system would work.
