Re: Your best online hands?
nothing to extravagant for me as i havent played enough to get a straight flush etc
but i did get [6c 6s] a few days ago
(incidentaly my favorite hand as it can trip up to become the number of the beast [6c 6s 6h] im a big iron maiden fan
)
that flopped quads , was able to make quite a handy sum on that one

Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

i have been playing online since early 2003, and i still haven't got a straight flush. ever (once in omaha, but that doesn't count). i folded [5s] [6s] once and the flop came [7s] [8s] [9s], but other than that i am still to get one.

Re: Your best online hands?
Only ever made one royal flush, live or online, and I got it online. Managed to get paid off by someone that flopped a set of aces despite the board being four-flushed, so I was actually lucky to make anything from it really. As a footnote, I didn't really have any business in the hand, I was steaming a bit from losing a big pot to a rivered one outer, and called a 2.5xBB raise from the BB on the button with Q7s, and got particularly lucky given he had AA. Sometimes our idiotic plays pay off I guess. Since it's been a one-off, I even remember that it was diamonds
.
Had a straight flush a couple of times in hold em, only in tournaments however. Had quads more frequently, most recently quad 3s, wherein my overbet on the river was called by A high, so that was pleasant. I can't remember any play-by-plays of any big hands lately, so this post lacks substance, and I shall end it.

Re: Your best online hands?
I had a hand yesterday.
Ring game, 1/2 skittle table online. 6 seater.
I have [5c 5h] and raise to 7 skittles. Guy next to me calls.
SB/BB fold,. so it's just us two.
Flop comes [4d kd 5d]
I flop a set, on a flushed board. I bet out for 10 skittles.
Other guy raises to 30 skittles. I don't put him on the made flush. Maybe top pair.
I re-raise all in and he calls. The pot is 190 skittles
He turns over [kc qh] - no diamond! Top pair.
Turn brings [5s] - I hit quads. River is the [ac].
I win the 190 skittle pot.

Re: Your best online hands?
One from tonight
Seat 1: Greg.Orovich ($1.70 in chips)
Seat 2: Fransis1 ($2.47 in chips)
Seat 3: luckygodgod ($1.80 in chips)
Seat 4: Jane1952 ($1.90 in chips)
Seat 5: luka_modric_ ($9.95 in chips)
Seat 6: laulek54 ($5 in chips)
Seat 7: Puristaako ($9.58 in chips)
Seat 8: BobVan12 ($1.80 in chips)
Seat 9: midorya239 ($10.31 in chips)
Seat 10: DrySidePot ($12.03 in chips)
I have been dealt [as jc]
ANTES/BLINDS
Jane1952 posts small blind ($0.05), luka_modric_ posts big blind ($0.10), laulek54 posts blind ($0.10).
The table has been fairly tight, and I started with $5, so I have been pretty aggressive. Usually a $0.35 bet has gotten everyone to fold.
PRE-FLOP
laulek54 checks, Puristaako folds, BobVan12 folds, midorya239 folds, DrySidePot bets $0.35, Greg.Orovich folds, Fransis1 folds, luckygodgod folds, Jane1952 folds, luka_modric_ calls $0.25, laulek54 calls $0.25.
FLOP [10s qs ad]
So, I'm top pair with the Ace for the runner runner nut flush
laulek54 bets $0.40. I put him on KQ or KK. So I raise this. DrySidePot bets $1.50. laulek54 bets $4.25 and is all-in.
I'm still thinking I'm looking okay here. Str8 draw too, but I figure a K isn't likely, since he's got 2.
So I call the $3.15. Hell, it was just my night's profits (I was up to $17, went back to $8 when my A5 ran into AA, with ace on flop & 5 on turn)
laulek54 shows [jh] [kc] . Shit, made straight.
Oh well, I had outs
RIVER [js]
