AFL Grand Final

Postby Chelsea4thewin » Thu Sep 25, 2008 3:12 pm

Whats ur prediction for the game? i think the Cats will be just too good, hopefully a close GF this year

whats everyone doing for the big game? anyone going?

personally, im just heading to the casino to watch the game with a few mates, last couple of years they have had a grandstand in the marble hall (where they have the poker satellite) so hopefully they have that again

then maybe hit up 2-3 no-limit skittles upstaits :)

Hoping to hurl myself... and then feel really sorry for myself the day after. That's the plan anyway.

$2200 for me if I'm closest to the margin (out of 121 people) of Cats winning.
I'm not perfect. I'm what perfect aspires to become

I reckon that's the most retarded thing I've read in a long time.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

Last game was round 17 11 point win by Geelong.

Grand Final Stage, About 4 players into the Geelong side that weren't in that last game. Incluing ablett Jr.

Honestly think Cats by a margin of 25-35. Close game but will run away in the last two quarters.

Changes if it rains though.

I'm sitting equal lead for a finals tipping contest, so I too need to pick a margin. I was thinking around the 35-45 point range. I just can't see Hawthorne sticking at it thru the last quarter when they know they are gone. I think we got spoilt for close ones in 2005-6 'cause the teams were fairly average, but *most* GFs blow out in the last quarter.
