Re: Big Day Out 2009 lineup
Woohoo won't have to spend 700 this year.
Only a few bands have grabbed me off that list. But to complete the list need to go to Perth BDO and Sydney BDO. And New Zealand to finish it.

Re: Big Day Out 2009 lineup
I heard a few weeks ago that Neil Young would be playing & that Pearl Jam might be there as well??? Now that Neil Young has been confirmed I wonder if the next part of the rumour will come true?
Usually there a 3 separate announcements so it could still yet happen as true PJ fans know the link between PJ & Neil Young & the amount of times they have played together or supported each other over the years.
Now just wait for all the Nova & SAFM listeners to complain about the line up & what a waste of money it will be. The BDO is not a celebration of mainstream commercial music people! (Although I am wondering what the hell Sneaky Sound System are doing there).
Here's a tip - Keep away from the main stages & head to the other stages (not that I'm going to all day) & I guarantee you will see some of the best live music you will ever see, from both local & OS artists.
Did anyone catch British India last year? I have seen them 3 times since the BDO this year & everytime I am left wanting more!
