not as bad as a CBD venue last week when they gave me 1 stamp for an imperial pint of beer, what so im meant to drink 8 pints to get my cards filled and then somehow drive home, cmon
lucky we had a TD that does his job well and we got the matter sorted quickly

The problem with B&G though, is that now, everyone is used to it. You are just not going to get a profitable venue if you don't stamp everyone up for a meal + drink. At the second week at Lyndoch, the week with 70 runners, the entire crowd was whinging. I remember seeing at least 5 customers complain to the manager about the stamping effort that was going on.

Re: Lyndoch No More?
Everywhere in the riverland seems to be consistent i think. A card for a meal, 2 stamps pint and one stamp schooner.
I think because every venue in this region has the same stamping policy, then there is pretty much no conversation about stamping, as everybody knows what to expect.
Maybe the Kingy's over-liberal policy is hurting the region?

I'm hope I'm not one of the 'Co'. I'm not complaining about the stamps as I know we have it good in the B & G region
If you've got luck...use it!

The Riverland Venues have obviously got their act in order and in fairness they have levelled the playing field so it's not abused.
Unfortunately. there are some at the Kingy who abuse the sytem and don't buy a meal and a drink as a bare minimum to keep the venue in the black.
And yes, if they (B&G punters) were to go to some of the city and suburban venues they might really appreciate what the Kingy is doing for all of us.

kingy and the wheatsheaf, yeah we got it good down here and it is werid when you go to a venue that has a certain structure, but i still think B & G is one of the best for stamping.
