Well, NPLSA.com is one year old today.

It was a year ago (and a day) since I saw Nathan at Pooraka and said it would be cool to start a forum for the NPL in South Australia, and even though I was only 50/50 about doing it, it was very encouraging and said that it would be great, and the NPL would be fully supportive. He also said that a forum in NSW (I think) was started ages ago and fell over due to abuse and general failure of keeping the forum running. I was determined not to let that happen here.

The next morning (the 10th) I registered the domain name, added it to my hosted and setup the original forum. Sure, it was Pete, Ondie, Des.. and me really. Just chatting.

But since then it's grown to be a great little forum with almost 800 members - over two people per day joining. The posts have increased, friends made, and knowledge shared on a state level.

So, thanks. Thanks for joining, and staying around a while. It's been great having everyone here adding to the flavour and fabric of the forum. And thankyou to the moderators who have helped me behind the scenes along the way - impossible to do it myself.

There are changes coming soon, which excites me a bit, and hopefully it adds even more to what we have.

A mighty fine forum it has turned out to bee.

I certainly have enjoyed being part of it .. as a statistic I think I'm listed as member 23 and joined in the first 1/2 weeks of its existstance.... look forward to the continued growth and development of your Baby....

so a Party/ Game at your Place then David.... I'll BYO my own Calsberg and hope its not on a Night when there's no Fussball Game (thats German for those multilingualists outthere)...

Ah forgot to tell you about my 'latest Bad beat' was holding A , 6 and got taken down by two pair 4 , 2 after hitting a Ace on the 'turn card ' did not Go all in and I think I was under UTG with the blinds 1000/2000 avoided the ' bubble" got 11th and five points ... and had KFC or was it a Chicken Parmay for Tea . with only one Card stamped up
