Maybe ring Vodafone back up and thank them very much for allowing you a credit for something that had absolutely nothing to do with them.

I'm glad to hear it got stopped fairly quickly though.

Vodafone didn't credit anything Pete it was the scammers who offered half my money back. :? And I actually received an email today saying they will look into my situation and get back to me with a result.

I guess if you look at the logistics of the whole scam they hit you for in my case $24 and offer you $12 back for 4 seconds of their time. :o

I guess someone in your position with multiple friends or contacts calling you all the time and possibly on a higher monthly program with unlimited calls would not have noticed it as I did. ;)

Anyway BRETT thank you for your POSITIVE response and thank you also PETE for reminding me of the "don't click on anything".
