Looks like big Sasha is a target for Urawa!
Rightly so, he's a gun player - he horrible to lose him though.
So, Adelaide has a salary cap of $1.9 million + a marquee player.
Urawa has eleventy billion dollars (or something).
Should he stay or should he go?
I don't know enough about the J-League to say if it's better here or there as far as playing at a higher level goes. The only reasons that I can see (at the moment) for him going would be for more cash or to experience another culture/league while he gets the opportunity.
I don't like either of those reasons. One thing I'd like the A-League to *not* be is a feeder league to everywhere else because that would very quickly stifle it's appeal and it may also continue the theme of being a retirement home.
So I think he should stay, and I'm being completely selfish when I say that.
Also, we're in the final, and there's plenty of clubs who have spent MILLIONS who are not. I'm sure I heard someone try and tell me that you had to splash the cash to have a hope of ever winning a title......
A+ for the club management and coaching and playing staff for doing a terrific job so far. THEY are the reason we're in the final.

with the salary cap as it is though, its hard to see the A-League being anything else than a feeder league and a retirement home, which would be a massive shame.

While I agree whole-heartedly with this sentiment, the one thing I don't want is for the A-League to become like MLS in the US.
They have retained their salary cap (I think US$4 million or something like that), but allow 2 players per team to be paid completely outside of the salary cap, hence the situation with Beckham (US$250 million, 5 year contract).
Now I know that the A-League has the marquee player rule, but I believe there are limits in place to make sure one player doesn't get paid 10 times the rest of the team put together.
So either raise the salary cap (preferable) or get rid of it (dangerous). Don't add exceptions to rules you already have in place.

If I hadn't been playing soccer for the first half, I would've seen the goals too

go to www.myp2p.eu
it has pretty much every stream from every sport
you may have to download some programs to get some of them to work, like sopcast, but they aren't spyware or anything, and the streams are good

Yeah, I was there.. Very surprised to find no Media Player ones. I have PPMate, but it never works for me..
So I just went to Justin.tv, which is what myp2p uses for the streams. Cut out the middle man
