would you have rather me said lets hope we make 240, so then we could maybe hang on for a "Brave" draw as the press likes to call it?

I just wish <insert online betting site> would allow live in-game betting like they do for the test matches. As soon as the opposition team makes more that 320 dump all your cash against the redbacks.

i dont mind that though ben. if we are going to bat at 2.4 an over but bat a whole day then thats fine. Last year we played way to many loose shots that got us out. Last year we were complaining that our batsmen don't know how to dig ourselves in for the long haul, and now we are doing it a lot better this season, so we cant really have it both ways.

There are a lot of youngish/yet-to-establish-themselves players in our team, so spending long days at the crease is only going to bode well for after christmas. Rebuilding takes more that 2 games, so if we improve, win some games and finish mid-pack this season then ill be happy.

At least we are showing some real thought, grit and determination in our batting now - getting out to good balls and not bad shots.

Maybe we should start a new thread, as its not all dissapointing in jelly-back land at the moment.

true dat - better to take 100 overs and be out for 250 than take 60 overs to be out for 250

I think my computer is broken ... it's trying to tell me SA just got through an entire morning session without losing a wicket?

Klinger got his ton, Borgas has 84 (parternship of 199), and the Redbacks are 2/227 at lunch.

Now MY computer looks like it's broken too!
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!
