If you didnt go so hard early on, then you would not be around the mark to actually make a run for the top 10 either.

Bathurst 1000 gives double points and every driver worth his salt wants to win.
Good on PGCC Mamagement for their initative and exacution.Imagine if it was held in Dec. Would it then make Porky the best ín the State?.

True, though drivers don't get an SMS just before Bathurst to tell them that ;)

But that tourney wasn't Double Point though.

I totally agree with you Des, the point I was tryin to make is that the Wednesday nite games at the Gardens usually have around 70 to 80 plus runners. And over the last couple of seasons they were regularly getting around a 100 or more.

Now by winning the PG$1,000 it was like hitting double points twice for Porky and shooting him right up both leader boards to second in the state and the Gardens. Fortunately, Jessica finished second and Duc finished 12th in the PG$1,000 to retain their top spots at PG and top 50.

As I said before, I don't care one way or the other I was merely showing how one major win can send an average positioned player right up there into a top position.

If I happen to hit some good cards at my 2 venues and make final table each time I'll have a similar chance as Porky did and maybe, just maybe, make top 5 in one or both venues. :o

Hi there Garth. I read your comments in Dakota's post re; "Para Hills $1,500". You said that your only allocating 20 points per person because of Emails that Annabelle had received from some PH regulars.

I'm sure the PH$1,500 would attract more players not only for the cash but also if they were playing for single points like we had at the Gardens.

At least that way there's a level playing field for "ALL MAJOR PRIZE POOL VENUES" in the future instead of the 20 points per player as suggested, what do you think?
