Its great that Adelaide have signed Ian Fyfe from Sydney F.U. He can play anywhere in defence and is a native south aussie, so he'll be here for the rest of his career probably. Will be good replacement for valkanis when they piss him off next year and if conrthwaite and/or ognenovskifarking go overseas next year.

We are on the lookout for a marquee striker for next year too. With the imports quota to be increased to 5 next year also, we are looking at a guy (can't remember his name) who played up front for Urawa Red diamonds in the J-League this year. I wonder how much more patience they have for agostino.

My Roy has quit, just a week before meeting Manure. I'm disappointed, but if he felt he couldn't do anymore, then i accept it. Wonder who Disco Pants will appoint?

Torres out for a month.

And Sick Note has retired! :-)

just watched the Adelaide v Gamba game, what an effort by the boys, played some excellent football, a whole different team to what we played in the AFC final

Travis Dodd was so unlucky not to score, his first chance he had one on one with the keeper he would of got 9 times out of 10, 3 big chances he had but couldnt put one in the net

Also very impressed with Jamieson's game, looked dangerous all game

Robbie Conflakes however wasnt all that good, hey pete, i dont think he is good enough at this level i have to say, also christiano shouldnt of played, was killed by the Gamba defence

what can you do though, if you dont score u dont win, pretty shattered right now, we should of at least gone to extra time

I turned it on about 20 mins into the game, and I thought whilst we were playing far better than in the ACL final we still looked pretty average at times.

SOOOO many poor passes, bad first touches and terrible crossing by everyone.

Only in the last 10 min or so when we decided to get stuck in did first time passes go fast and to the feet of our players, still couldn't cross to save our lives though.

Dodd will indeed be spewing, had some great chances but no luck.

Still, playing on that stage is an experience that was needed and it shows just how much hard work needs to be done still.
