This is a question of Annabelle and other management
Will there be any special events on the horizon any time soon? There seems to be a lot of support for another deepstack event or a region of origin or a teams event or a mixed game tourney or...
just wondering if anything is in the official pipeline?

Hey Garth,
Just a question with regards to the FTT tournaments, if you didn't use your FTTs from last season or the season before at the Xmas FTT tournament, are they valid for the next FTT tournament held in February? Also, is the plan to have 1 FTT tournament per season? And can you only use FTTs from that particular season or can you use ones that have built up since the promotion started?
Cheers
Brice

Great question there Brice. I'd like to also add that some of us are still owed FTT from last season when NPL seemed to have ran out. Are they going to be redeemable or are we able to use them as per Brices query (whoops nearly did it again) regarding last seasons FTT's.

Hi Brice,
Hope you had a good new years.
I guess in answer to your question I ask you to look at the season comp this way.
Make three final tables in the first or last five weeks of the season (metro regions) and qualify for a tournament, either casino tournament sat or $5,000 freeroll.
No FTT's need to be redeemed for these events.
For one off events all FTT's that have been accumulated can be redeemed. This opens up the tournaments to all players and creates a certain perceived value of the tokens, I am yet to decide whether this is a negative or not.
We will hold one off FTT tournaments every 3 - 4 months. At the moment there is some fascinating proposals for the NPL competition that might come to fruition and thus keep me very busy. I will stay on top of this.
I do believe it is time for a teams event and the Berri Deepstack should be planned to hit it up in June or July. But whether I, or Annabelle, have the time to organise this is yet to be seen. But it is my plans and something will happen before May.

Cheers for the update Garth, sounds very exciting and exactly what I wanted to hear! Looking forward to the Casino Sat and 5k freeroll! Superb idea I must say, gets people to continue playing for final table placings for the last 5 weeks of the season, without disrupting the venue/state leaderboard points.
To be honest, I was really hoping there would be some promotion that would enable non-regular players like myself to qualify for. This is perfect!
Thanks again
