This is the exact reason we need an all-rounder in the team. Yes clarke is pretty handy, but he's largely defensive, and katich isnt going to bowl you 15 overs in a day. When symonds is in form with the ball he is capable of taking 3 for.
The fact is we need another allrounder. You saw how ineffective mitchell johnson became in his 40th ver of the innings. Keep the pace bowlers fresh.
