Re: reds tonight
what a cracking strike from christiano - absolute gun
adelaide did well to hold in the second half though, they got absolutely smashed from about the 25 minute mark onwards

Re: reds tonight
Definately a sign of a good team that we can not play at our best and still get a good result. All is set up for a massive game tuesday night against melbourne victory at the telstra dome.
If we win this game i think we will probably win the league, and definately have an ACL spot for 2010 sewn up.
What am i gonna do tuesday? Play the first week of the new season of poker at the waikerie club? or watch the reds gun for a title. Dammit i can't decide.
If we win this game i think we will probably win the league, and definately have an ACL spot for 2010 sewn up.

Re: reds tonight
Well we ventured to Adelaide oval last night to watch our first live game of Adelaide United in action. It was fantastic!! Great atmosphere, and even our 9 yo daughter totally enjoyed herself, despite the united player heading towards her to give her a soccer ball only to hand it to the kid next to her
Great night out had!!

Re: reds tonight
The match itself was pretty average, but as was pointed out earlier - to still come away with the win means things are looking good for the end of the season!
I did LOL pretty hard when Simon Hill (Fox Sports commentator for those not in the know) remarked on the crowd of 25+ thousand mostly wearing red shirts and wondered where the hell they all are when the match is at Hindmarsh!
Simple answer to that, Hindmarsh is in a bad spot and not many people like going there!

Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

Hindmarsh is an awesome stadium but hard to get to. I love watching sport there but hate walking a k or so to get there.
