Hi there Big Pete. I'm not being silly as I do like to be correct in all manners of life but I do at times have a problem with some words and their meanings.
But sometimes they have two or more ways of spelling the word and have different meanings but sound the same when spoken.
So if I were to say; "dam it I made a mistake" is it correct? Should there be an "N" at the end?
Or, if I were to used a similar expression like; I'm damned if I do and I'm damned if I don't or damned hot the "N" appears.

Re: ASK BIG PETE TO CLARIFY YOUR SPELLING PROBLEMS HERE
Easy solution would be to ... buy a dictionary, Bob. Or use one of the many online dictionaries!
Yes, there would be an N in the sentence, "Damn it, I made a mistake".
Damn, in this instance, is an interjection being used as an expletive.
I clearly don't have a lot of work to do today

But seriously Garth, the forum is and can be a fun place too.
I love it when Pete corrects my spelling, or Scotty adds to it and then there's old faithful Des when no one else cares he's there.
And you my friend I really enjoy your input and answers to queries that people like myself are always throwing at you. And yes you too have humour in your viens but people don't always see you in that light.
I'm sure Pete will shake his head and say WTF is Bob at now and see the funny side of it all as it was meant to be.
However, some people will take things the wrong way and get nasty but I've been around a long time to let that bother me too much. Can't wait for tonights game at the Wheatsheaf and I'm looking forward to playing with Matty or Darren. I need the points and a direct line to 15th seems attractive, don't you think???
