I have found that I get far better results if other players either see me playing like a donk and so try to call when I am not in the hope of catching me being a donki
OR
thinking I am ultra tight and agressive and then being too scared to call when I have a mediocre hand
Any tips on whats the best way to promote these images?

Re: Mixing it up
i dont know think trying to promote those images is that good for your game
i find the best way is to change gears, meaning play tight for a while until people catch on then suddenly change to loose poker and lots of people will fold to u because they think ur always playing the nuts
however, a real donk is the player u want to look out for, he wont pick up on ur play and will call an all in because he has two picture cards in the hole

Re: Mixing it up
still try to work it out 4 myself...
easy for me being a donk is my natural game.
folding is cheap it saves chips.
high cards are a good help but dont always win
beware the two pair.

Re: Mixing it up
ooo yes!
flopping 2 pair is often a painful exercise for heaps of players!
I can only assume that whoever they are playing against must only be thinking in single pairs and/or straights and flushes which they duly chase (and often hit) because they might have only put you on say top pair.
Must confess, can't remember the last time I put anyone on 2 pair.
