Shield game versus NSW started today. NSW batting first are 2/110.

Phillip Hughes has 77 of them and will probably belt another ton. No Shaun Tait either for the redbacks, so it could be a long day in the field.

Fergusson got his second ton of the summer which is good for the young lad. he is definately in Australia A calculations, and will put his name up for Aussie selection in the next few years.

Not sure how long is left in the game, but we are 7 wickets down with 50 to get. Pretty sure we wont have enough time yet, as we would need 10 overs or so and its pretty late in the day.

a draw looks likely.

we lost by 25 runs. another one that is so close but so far. the difference between 0 and 6 points from a game has been one good session it seems. but i guess thats the difference between the good teams and the bottom feeders.
