shootout would work awesome i reckon, although would increase the need for random seating i think.

deepstack would be awesome.

partners would also kick arse (macca and krunchie FTW)

As a TD I would like to see deep-stacks, 6-max and shoot-outs.

Mainly because these are easier to run

At the moment I dont play live games, mainly because I work 2 much, but if we got HORSE or PLO games happening I would have to take more days off to compete in these.

Have we thought about Training sessions?
Hands on teaching of most variants of poker and then of course a tournament.

a good Saturday arvo, 5-6 teaching the game, 6-7 meals break 7 onward a tournament.

(I didnt vote, as this is for the players)

thats a great idea - have a 1 hour "learn the game" session before playing something like PLO, for those that are unfamiliar.

teach beginners strategy - i.e AAAA or all hearts in your hand are BAD!! :D

Shootout, Bounty and deepstack are my prefered options.

Razz and Horse cannot seeing these being suitable for a normal poker night. Too many player cannot understand the basic rules for holdem, just imagine the problems playing new variants

There would be a good case for seat allocations when playing other variants of holdem.
