I think maybe Mr Craig has worked out that there's 6 forwards, not just one :)

Some of their recruiting does seem iffy though.

Pretty sure Crows fans won't complain who kicks the goals though, just as long as they do.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

if hentschel and burton both fit and firing, i think the forward line looks pretty good.

shame they both seem to get injured without even getting out of bed in the morning.

Burton is a hack.

Hentschel has potential.

Burton was in great form before he did his knee

Burton at best would be better suited to a role like Richo at the Tigers, a tall wingman with a roving commission, he like Gill is an hopeless kick at goal sure he will hit 3 or 4 one week and then next shot its deadin front 30m out and it go's outbounce on the full.

for benny the cunt,

Just a taste of a few key forwards you forgot Rocca, Micky O, JB, Roughead and the rifleman at the hawks are perfect foils you cannot keep 3 down forever, Johnson at the doggies, Reiwalt, Ablett, and keep your eye out for young Tom Hawkins he may become another big time FF, Neata at the Dees was a top FF a couple of years back, they too have no real froward structure to win games.

The best defence is not the answer to winning games unless your forwards can kick a winning score.
42.7 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot.

i think Burton is a good player, he is not a go to forward, if u have him as your only target your dead

but he is the X Factor of the crows, one of the hardest players to match up on in the competition, his kick has let him down from time to time but in recent years it hasnt been that bad at all

perrie was shocking

People that say that AFL is full of 'scientific garbage' and that it is useless are living in the past. They clearly have no understanding of the modern game and should only watch black and white VHS tapes of south melbourne versus fitzroy - talking about it with the one other person in australia who gives a schit.

Taylor Walker will be a gun.

i forgot about john brown, and ablett was a lot longer than 10 years ago

the other players you have mentioned are NOT 4 goal a game players gundog. go check the stats

johnson, mark williams and micky o are small/medium forwards gundog

so go and get your facts straight first.

and as steve said, burton is not ever going to be your go to guy. but he has the most endurance otu of anyone on the crows list, ever, so that would probably rank him in the top 20 ever. and we all know the marks he can take. so that makes him someone that the opposition have to worry about - if you dont he kicks 6, or 2.4 as the case may be. but you still ahve to watch for him

top 20 ever i dont think so benny the cunt, but is one of those players you would risk having in your side because he is a match winner

Crows fans keep forgetting my favourite crows player Jason Porplyzia, if he is fit this guy is unstoppable

A 4 goal a game forward is basically a century goal kicker, or there abouts. Of which, there haven't been many in recent years.

The Crows haven't had a dominant forward who can kick goals since Modra, and even Fud wasn't a traditional FF, just used his abilty and extreme smarts and skill to baffle opposition.

The Crows don't have someone on their list who can kick 70 goals a year in the next ... 3 years.

Tippett doesn't have enough of a footy brain (and will probably end up at the TipTopTeam soon). Burton doesn't seem to stay fit for a whole season. Henschell is good but I don't know he's got the consistency for a whole season. Walked will be good but really really needs to learn to move without the ball, as a defender in the forward line. He's very "country".

The Crows will have to make do with a makeshift forward line. I hate that term though, it's not really makeshift, it's just different. Spreading the goals evenly amongst more people.

Stick Goody down there. Either that or let him play a role a-la Hodge down half back.

Throw the kids in the fire and see who stands up.
