Well i thought while im on holiday id come check out Victorian NPl Poker. Ill definaly be playing at Zagame's Caulfield Club Hotel.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this or not, (hey it's better than not posting at all). I jusy want to mention that I love the revamp to the main NPL website. A much needed improvement, it's definately a keeper IMHO.
Hey while I'm at it a big thumbs up to all the Metro West TD's (especially the Werribee/Hoppers Crossing crew), you guys are the best.
Btw, did someone mention a forum freeroll? Count me in.

actually, i think i came 6th
i had top pair and an open ender with QJ on an 9 10 J board, bet, steve shoved, i called, he flopped a straight Q8.

Whats worse, folding a big blind pre flop ( i had 7 2 ), costing me at most 1k, ( bloody alcahol )
or running pocket queens into pocket kings on a raise- re raise -re raise all-in situation, where you have already admited that you recognised you were behind and called anyway costing you about 7k.
