Thommo is a d-word

Postby bennymacca » Sun Mar 15, 2009 5:16 am

5 mins ago in our 10c/20c NL cashy

troy only has 3 bucks left, raises to 2 bucks after a couple of calls, and still gets 3 callers :D

flop [js] [3s] [2h]

checks all round

turn [9d]

troy puts his last buck in, thommo instacalls

on the turn, steve, says thommo has a gutshot

river [5s]

thommo rolls it without any betting, rolls [4c] [6c]

troy looks as if he wants to kill a penguin, rolls [jh] [jd]

big lols

Had a great time - excellent work, benny the cunt :)

I'll just have to make sure you don't stack me next time. That hand just before the FT killed me :(

well don't tank-shove with A10 when i raised with AJ, and you'll be right :D

i actually put you on a lot worse ace than A10, but i was still happy when u turned that over after my call, obviously

the best hand of the night came on the bubble.

folded around to me on the button, i limp with my aces, as shannon on the BB was shorter than me and had been shoving to build a stack

sb calls, and shannon checks

flop 668, 2 spades

sb and shannon checks, not a bad flop for me, but i also dont mind taking it down here, i bet 5K.

sb folds, shannon raises to 10K of her 25K stack, i shove for about 35, she INSTA-calls.

dammit, she has a 6 i am thinking, she rolls 6 2.

turn spade, river spade, runner runner flush, goodbye shannon!!

from then on, the tourney probably took 90 mins for the top 5 to play out, with most of that time 3 handed. i ended up winning with heath coming second, haylee third, gaz 4th and thommo 5th.

good night anyway thanks to dave and scott for coming, next time more forum boys need to come. i got 21 runners this time, more would be awesome, although it starts to stretch my chipset. and i have to say that i like my tourneys much better when i am not first out (and subsequently change the rules to allow rebuys :D)

So much for building a super-tight image in the 3 hours prior :)

It's my tourney and I'll rebuy if i want to? hehe

Anyway, sounds like a stellar night, and I'm rather disappointed I couldn't make it in the end. Next time.
