Ill put the hand in a bit of context.

Firstly, this was a heads up battle. I had been raising my small blind the majority of the time, to win his big blind the majority of the time. Occasionally he would shove and i would have to lay it down.

Essentially (and this may be a bad play but this is the reason for it) i was trapping with my ace high. Because i had raised most hands that contained paint cards or higher, i think my opponent was starting to recognise this (this heads up battle went for over half an hour).

I know that his range of cards he would min-bet a flop with would be quite big, and i flat call/shove in heads up play smells more of monster than nothing most of the time. This was what i was trying to represent.

He was folding anything but an over pair, a 7 with a good kicker or a 3 (or maybe AK) there so i took my chances. I made the wrong move and ill learn from it, but i dont think the actual move (considering it was heads up) was that bad.

These $3 6max SNG have been awesome to me.

Last 5 games have been 2nd, 2nd, 1st, 1st, 1st. Up like $40 in two days which is good for my roll.
